It's what you'd call a knotty problem in Aughton...
And you don't mess with Japanese knotweed, one of the most invasive plants on the planet.
It's been spotted on Scarth Hill Lane and Mickering Lane, Aughton - according to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, it is the responsibility of the landowner to prevent its spread into the wild or neighbouring properties.
